Applied Kinesiology, Volume I was published in 1981 as the first of a planned five volume set covering all aspects of applied kinesiology. The text goes into greater detail on each muscle covering anatomy, kinesiology, general characteristics, and proper muscle testing. In the muscle testing section the testing position, patient fixation requirements, stabilization, synergists, postural imbalances, and alternate testing procedures are covered when applicable
Basic AK procedures in use at that time are covered with emphasis on the spinal column.
